Update, 15/03/2020: Please note that due to the current issues with public gatherings, the Milnsbridge Repair Cafe has been postponed. Keep an out here and we’ll let you know when it’s going to happen as soon as possible.
The Huddersfield Repair Cafe team will be hosting a one-off event in the Milnsbridge village hall in the near future.
We’ll be tackling our usual fixes, such as electronics, mechanical and household items, but you’ll also be able to bring clothes along to be repaired, which isn’t something we can typically do at the regular Queensgate Market repair cafe.
Throughout the day there’ll be hour long repair tutorials, too. These will include:
- Installing Linux: If you’ve got an old laptop that just won’t run Windows any more, bring it along and we’ll help you install the free Linux operating system instead. Linux is much friendlier to old hardware, and can get it up and running again like used to be.
